Snowy the Snowman

Last year, I found a wonderful snowman from Penny Black. I used it for many of my cards and this year he is back, but I'm using a new background, the white birch tree embossing folder from Darcie.

I used Whisper White for my base card and Night of Navy for the embossing layer. After brayering on Whisper White ink to the folder, I ran it through the embosser with the dark paper. At first I didn't like it very much, but it grew on me.  After adding Snowy the snowman, some snow, first using a white pen for flakes, then, Tattered AngelGlimmer Mist, and then some flakes from SU for more texture, I really like it!

Snowy is colored using SU markers, Copic markers, and       glitter pen on his hat.

I think he is going to be one of my favorite cards again this year, but there are soooo many wonderful new stamps out there for Christmas that I just can't decide.
